Shape Size etc. of the final catalyst: Monoliths coated with alumina and active metals
Suitable Grade: Dispersible alumina with MD and HD are potential candidates (high purity)
An auto catalyst is a cylinder or elliptical cross section made from ceramic or metal formed into a fine honeycomb and coated with a solution of chemicals and a combination of platinum, rhodium and/or palladium. Palladium/Rh is used as catalytic converters, which convert up to 90% of harmful gases from auto exhaust (hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen dioxide) into less-harmful substances (nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water vapour).
